Many people are trying to make money online and it has become a booming trend that people are Paid to Click (PTC), Paid to Read (PTR) and Paid to Sign Up (PTS). The amount of PTC, PTR and PTS sites have grown enormously, creating some confusions. When you try to do PTC, they pay you very low rate and it takes upgrading to view more ads. Some people (including me) don't want to upgrade and start signing up in various PTC sites. PTR is just the same. You get paid to read emails, but the paying rate is also in cents not dollars per email.
As someone who loves reading, I accidentally came accross this one particular website called ReadBud. This site pays you to read and rate articles. All of them are interesting articles. You can join for free and start reading articles right away. The number of articles provided is considerably high and they will sort it out through your "interests" option upon joining. The payment structure for each article is based on the word count:
- Under 100 : 1 cent
- Between 101 and 200 : 2 cents
- Between 201 and 300 : 3 cents
- Between 301 and 400 : 4 cents
- Between 401 and 500 : 5 cents
- Between 501 and 600 : 6 cents
- Between 601 and 700 : 7 cents
- Between 701 and 800 : 8 cents
- Between 801 and 900 : 9 cents
- Between 901 and 1500 : 10 cents
- Between 1501 and 2000 : 15 cents
- Over 2000 : 20 cents
You must rate the article at the end of your reading in order to get paid. Like all other PTR, PTC sites, this site also offers reward for refferals. You can get the link for your refferal after you join and post it in your blog, social network sites, forums or websites. You can also reffer to friends by email and every refferals redeemed, you will get $5 credited to your account. You can make payment request through PayPal once you reach $50. But you can keep your balance until higher amount if you wish.
The good thing about ReadBud is they have no limits in reading articles daily, nor they have upgrading mechanisms. The amount of articles you get on the site is based on the amount of topic that interests you. Upon joining, you will be given options to share your interests. You can choose up to 50 topics over 340 available topics ranging from Computer, Softwares to Health, Diet, Time Management and Beauty. The more you choose, the more articles you get. You can modify your "interests" every 24 hours. They do not send email to notify you if new articles are posted, so you need to be pro-active and login to their website as often as possible to check whether new articles are available or not.
Sometimes when we are in a hurry, we forgot to rate the articles. Or in some cases, the link was broken. What to do? You can just easily go to "Articles" tab and look for the side menu on your left. There, you will find a menu on "Article History", once you click that menu, they will display all articles you were invited to read and rate. Articles that you have missed will also be displayed. Look out for the remark "Not Viewed" and "Not Rated". You can click the title of the articles and it will be opened, ready for you to read and rate. Be sure that you understand the content before you rate it. Missed articles will be accumulated in 24 hours, so you can come back the next day to finish what you have missed. In order to receive more articles, you must spend adequate time reading the articles brought to you attention by site's article delivery engine. Furthermore, you must provide well concluded ratings for the articles they read, showing them that they are well interested in the articles they deliver, as well as their service overall. The more dedicated to the service you are, the more articles they will present to your attention, hence the more you will earn.
ReadBud provides good quality articles and all are very interesting. Not only you will get paid to read and rate, but you can actually learn something from the content. So, for those who likes to read and eager to learn, why not join now?
